hummers in the mist

Every night for the past few nights a dense fog has descended on our dingy little town, a grey mist with headlights cutting through it on their way uptown. It’s like whatever god is using Barrie as a wind tunnel to study the aerodynamic properties of backwater mid-size commuter cities.

Apparently there’s a new Matt Mays album and I wasn’t informed. It’s put forth as the soundtrack to a film that doesn’t exist. The album’s website contains a trailer for the unfilm, which gets extra points for featuring Sam Roberts as an Australian hick with a straw hat and a pickup truck.
